In came the Crane(s)

Common Crane is a bird that I've always been captivated by. From their elegant stance and walk to their haunting call they have a real presence and watching them is a very relaxing and fulfilling experience. 

Fortunately for me then that an adult pair and a juvenile turned up at Pensthorpe on Saturday (Thanks Emma!) and I decided to pay them a visit. 

Where these birds came from is anyone's guess but they were truly fantastic to see regardless.
